Since 2018, the head of the Technical University of Liberec is doc. RNDr. Miroslav Brzezina, CSc. He joined the university in 1993 and his first steps led to the Faculty of Science, Humanities and Education where he became one of the mathematics teachers. From 2008 to 2015 he was the dean of the faculty, and subsequently held the position of vice-dean of the faculty.
