Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies

Partner countries:

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, Poland, Romania, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia.

Who can participate:

  • Full-time students after the end of the 2nd semester
  • Full-time academic staff

*Participation in the programme is possible within the existing network (Faculty of mechanical engineering and Faculty of Textile Engineering) or as a free mover.

Scholarship:

The current scholarship amount is listed here and is paid in the host country upon arrival at the foreign university.

Application deadlines:

15 June – for the winter semester of the following academic year within the network.

31 October – for the summer semester of the current academic year within the network

30 November – for the summer semester (free movers)

Programme goals

Aktion

It is a cooperation programme between the Czech Republic and Austria focused on science and research partnerships and the support of academic exchanges between universities in both countries.

Partner countries:

Austria

Who can participate:

  • Students of master’s and doctoral studies who are citizens of EU countries, the European Economic Area and Switzerland
  • Full-time academic staff

Scholarship:

Scholarship for the preparation of a final thesis (1 – 5 months. The scholarship for Czech students is EUR 1 150 per month.

Short-term research stays (1-3 months), monthly research stays (1 month or less), and habilitation stays for PhD students (1-5 months). The scholarship is EUR 1 250 per month.

Application deadlines:

15 March – for the coming winter semester

31 October – for the coming summer semester
