To ensure that parenthood does not hinder your work or studies at TUL, we offer you the opportunity to enroll your children in the university kindergarten or the children’s corner.
Kindergarten
We opened our own kindergarten ŠkaTULka, with Waldorf pedagogy elements for the children of our employees and students. It has two classrooms equipped with a large playroom with Montessori tools and toys made of natural materials, functional kitchens, a music and art corner, a courtyard, a school garden, and a gym. The kindergarten is designed for 48 children aged 3 years and older.
Tuition and boarding fees
The tuition fee for kindergarten for university employees and students is CZK 12,000 per year. We contribute to the tuition fee for employees from the social fund. The boarding fee is CZK 1,160 per month.
Children’s Corner
For short-term babysitting of your children, we have set up a Children’s Corner at the Faculty of Science, Humanities and Pedagogy. Babysitters can look after toddlers and preschoolers. The price is 60 CZK per hour. TUL employees pay it with a payroll deduction, and students pay with a bank transfer.
