Educational goals
The study is covering full scope of architectural design from industrial design over building design to simple urban design tasks. Art, humanities and technology are a necessary part of the curriculum as well as the use of new media. The students get experience in interrelated fields and are educated as competent counterparts of structural, mechanical and other building engineers. The Graduate has a base in practical architectural design as well as in its history and theory. He has a basic review in the design of building structures and building systems. He is capable of practical work and further development.
Profile of the graduate
The Graduate has a base in practical architectural design as well as in its history and theory. He has a basic review in the design of building structures and building systems. He is capable of practical work and further development. The four year bachelor programm is accepted by the Chamber of Czech Architects as a standard education. The graduate of this programm can apply for a license after fulfilling the legal period of practical experience in the length of five years. The license will be awarded for architectural design.

Admission procedure
The condition for enrolment on the bachelor study programme is the attainment of high school general education or high school expert education and the demonstration of a talent for graphic art during the talent entrance examination. The conditions for the entrance examinations and the conditions for the study enrolment are determined in the directive issued by that faculty in compliance with the Universities Act.
