U studijních programů zaměřených na vzdělávání vybíráte vždy kombinaci dvou: hlavní (maior) a přidružený (minor). Viz podrobnější informace.
Educational goals
The aim of the three-year study is to prepare qualified, university-educated experts with an overview of the history of human society from prehistoric times to the end of the 20th century, and basic knowledge of general principles of a historian’s work with sources, the methodology of history, the history of historiography, the history of art and culture, and history teaching.
Profile of the graduate
The graduate is equipped with a basic professional knowledge of society’s development from prehistoric times to contemporary history. Czech or Czechoslovak history, respectively, is interpreted in the context of world history. Therefore, the students are encouraged to view various aspects of history more comprehensively than when they are taught Czech (Czechoslovak) and general history separately. The bachelor study is primarily aimed at acquiring basic general knowledge and competences in the field of history.
