Educational goals

The graduate will be able to: – critically compare the views of standard economic models at key economic categories and mechanisms, and evaluate their impact on the firm, – identify, classify and interpret economic data, including their explicit and implicit assumptions in the application of probability methods, – run a quantitative and qualitative analysis of economic data, – use the information technology and software support for organisational and presentational activities.

Profile of the graduate

The graduate at the follow-up master level has knowledge of: – economic concepts and categories, and understands the connection between them in the context of major economic theories and schools of economics, – mathematical-statistical methods applicable in business data processing, – the legislative framework of legal entities, including the tax framework and methods of accounting data compilation, – the principles of investment and financial decision-making, – current management approaches, business activities and processes, including the methods, tools, and technologies (IT) to control them, – knowledge relevant to the preparation for managerial positions.

Management of Business Processes
n the specialization Business Process Management, the graduate will gain specific knowledge: – for the management of business projects, including supporting SW tools, – environmental management policy in enterprises, – audit methodology, – principles of process planning at all hierarchical levels of the business entity, – comprehensive approach to enterprise cost management, – modern quality management systems and tools, including statistical methods.
Marketing and International Trade
In the specialization Marketing and International Business the graduate will gain specific knowledge of: – the concept of customer value as a tool of competitive advantage of companies and marketing strategic management, – brand marketing management, – forms and tools of marketing communication of the company, – the functioning of the European single internal market and external economic relations of the EU, – international business activities of companies, – international business environment.

Admission procedure

A completed Bachelor degree programme is required for admittance to the follow-up Master degree programme. The Faculty Dean determines entrance exam rules and conditions for enrolment to the programme by special measures in accordance with the Higher Education Act.
